Mission briefing

Delainen apparently formed some sort of bond or relationship with the rogue drone colony near his previous home. But it's worse than that. Even now there are ongoing subspace transmissions taking place between these drones and the AI unit you recovered ― the thing's intelligence core is most certainly not dead.

The drones have moved around several times, but they're remaining near, for whatever reason. Go to the Kaunokka system and destroy that rogue drone colony once and for all. The hive mind CPU and construction center is in the central hive structure. That is your target.

These drones are very, very advanced, and they've had time to build. You might even wish to take some help with you. Once they are all destroyed, salvage the hive mind CPU and return it to us.

Objective

Eliminate drone colony and central hive structure; bring hive mind CPU back for study.

Item one unit of Hive Mind CPU (5.0m3)

Tips

Warning: this is a difficult mission.

Do not destroy energy neutralizers first. Their destruction triggers new spawn of enemies. Start with enemies targeting you. Once they are cleared, work on energy neutralizers.

Prepare to fight the enemy with capacitor at 0. Passive tanking recommended.

Also, some drone can disrupt warp drive. Bring a warp stabilizer, in case you have to return to the station.
