I'd like you to help us investigate a string of disappearances which have been occurring in Kiartanne. The outer settlements and mining expeditions have been reporting people missing almost every day now for the past few weeks, and some small settlements have strangely become abandoned. It's become a bit of a political mess, considering the government has been encouraging civilians to move away from the cities and crowded areas, and now people are moving back to avoid the dangers of living on the outer rim of civilized space.
For your first reconnaissance mission I would like you to take a look at a small settlement in {system name} that we lost contact with. The inhabitants had a hidden surveillance monitor installed a few weeks ago, which should reveal what happened there. Bring it to me, it is located inside one of the habitation modules.
