I -- and a number of other members of the Federation -- believe that the official position we have taken regarding the Amarrian enslavement of the Matari people is far too lenient. We feel that something must be done to eliminate this dehumanizing practice within out lifetimes, and if we are to see action, we must take it ourselves.
