I've been hearing about an abandoned drone hive nearby. We have yet to find any viable explanation for its presence. I need someone to go investigate and make sure there aren't any rogue drones still hanging around: We need to be certain this is not a threat.

Tips

Despite the wording of the objective, you do not need to collect a "rogue drone AI core" to complete the mission. Just kill all the drones.

The "* Alvum" class ships are technically cruisers. They move slower than their frigate counterparts and hit harder, so they should be taken out first when they're encountered. Come to this mission equipped for close range combat as the frigates swarm and orbit at 3km - 4km with high angular velocity.
