I received this today from the ECA. If you're a US Citizen, you need to take action to preserve your internet usage. Here's what they sent:
Now is the time for you to stand up for your rights and join millions of Americans of every political persuasion in the fight for Net Neutrality. Net Neutrality is the principle that ensures that gamers are free to go where they want, do what they like, and connect with whom they choose online. Congressmen Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.) have introduced H.R. 3458, the Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009.
Take action now and tell Congress to make Net Neutrality the law of the land: http://salsa.wiredforchange.com/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=k%2Fx98Zmeza512RWBkTZwKWlTWrC9iHzH
Without Net Neutrality, your Internet Service Provider is free to charge you extra for playing EVE-Online, to interfere with Xbox Live, or to completely shut off your ability to access for favorite web sites. Net Neutrality affects your entire online experience.
Speak out to enshrine Net Neutrality as a principle of the internet.
This is our best chance yet in making sure that Net Neutrality is passed by Congress. The head of the FCC supports it, the President of the United States supports it, and we're asking you to make sure to tell Congress you support it. Take a moment to send them the message to make Net Neutrality the law.----
The issue here is that network providers like AT&T and stinking rotten Comcast want to charge content providers and website owners for access to their 'networks.' For example, Youtube would have to pay a fee to allow videos to reach Comcast customers. Small sites like us will have no chance--we cannot afford to pay to have BattleClinic accessible to Comcast's customers, and AT&T's customers, and and and. You get the picture. This will fracture the 'net. We must act to stop the greedy providers from trying to control where we go, what we do, and what we can see on the internet.

Do you use teamspeak/skype/ventrillo?
Won't be using it anymore, as im sure your ISP will consider it competetive to thier phone services.
Do you watch youtube/hulu/<insert other content stream>?
Do you also have cable?
Won't be viewing it anymore, as your cable company will say it competes with their core business.
Do you play wow?
Wow uses torrents to distribute their patches, ISPs would block torrent transfers because its used by nefarious people.
Don't believe us?

Net neutrality is so very important not just for the US, but the whole world.
Its important that people be allowed to access information, whatever its form.
