This is my first Thorax setup. I'm only a 2-months old player btw.

I'll swith to tech II when I meet the requirements (got hull uprade 4, but my gunnery skills suck right now) but it's already a pretty tight fit.

I switch to an afterburner and a web when doing mission.

Almost cap stable when not running repper and mwd (of course).

I know a lot of people fit small blasters and a plate on that thing, but I don't like the idea of not using this ship's bonuses.

This fit have only been tested with corpmate with great results but they're not PvPers, so maybe it's crappy and I don't know it yet.

Could this thing hold his own when I get better gunnery and drones skills?

Any advice?

Well a Thorax can hold its own very well while improving skills,  just slowly upgrade support skills and upgrade modules to t2, and eventually hit the deimos. great ship to fly though.
