Dominix - Scrapie's belt and braces mission runner
« on: December 21, 2007, 02:23:07 am »
Here is my Dominix, which I manufactured myself from ore I mined and loot I reprocessed.
It is a Level 4 mission ship, obviously. I have tried to keep as big a tank as possible while still having a good punch. The faster you get through a mission, the more you can earn.
As it is, it is almost cap stable with both reppers, all the hardeners and all guns running. To make it totally so, I would need either one better cap recharger (but a 24% one costs over a billion!) or a CCC II rig, which seem to be around 300-350 mil if you can find them. This is a lot of ISK, and I have already spent quite a bit on this baby. So, if I need both reppers running, turning off one of the rails has the same effect.
The hardeners are swapped about as needed.
There is a full spread of drones for taking out the smaller ships, when they are cleared the ogres come out to play and the 350 rails join in the symphony. With my gunnery skills I can hit out a long way even with antimatter fitted, so that is what I use. The only real downside is that it is as slow as a slug on a cold day, but in missions, they come to you :) and I have a fast salvage ship.
I think this is a good ‘un, but as always, comments and improvements are more than welcome.
