Description:	OUTALANCE SHIPYARDS C-10 Type Late TOS/Early TMP Era Romulan Warbird Prototype Owner: Romulan Star Empire Class: Heavy Combat Vessel Availability: Limited Deployment In Service: 2265 Out of Service: 2290 C10 was the Starfleet designation for a class of Romulan Warbird in the late 23rd century. The C10 was basically refits and upgrades to the original KR7 an effective combat vessel throughout most of its long service life, but by the mid 2200s the Federation was fielding designs such as the Constitution class which considerably outclassed it. As a result, the Romulans fielded a modified version of the ship during the 2270's known as the C10. This variant shared the same basic hull form with the original vessel, but included various detail changes including the edition of a second primary hull, combined with redesigned nacelles that increased the top speed. The armament was also boosted dramatically. Despite the changes, the C10 was still not a match for the Excelsiors. Several skirmishes occurred with the Federation during the 2280s, generally pitting the C10 against the Excelsior class Starships. Description:	Conquerer Class TMP Era RDD ---------------------- On stardate 2269.1 the USS Boston detected this vessel when on deep-space patrol close to the neutral zone. What was recorded alarmed Starfleet so much the Federation council placed all out posts on the Romulan-Federation border on alert at the time. It appeared at the time the Romulans had found a way to install a Type R plasma launcher on the RDD hull. It was found later that this was the ships onlt primary weapon, so the threat was downgraded. Little is still known about this ship. It is known that is carries three plasma batteries, but the rest of the weaponry appears to be low-powered phG batteries. All systems have to be downsized to fit the massive Type R launcher --------------------------------------- Author: RavenNX
