Description:	The D-7R, named "Bringer Of Agony" after the Klingon K't'rika, was another attempt by the Klingons to make use of the plasma weapons, this time incorporated into the improved D-7M hull with the photon torpedo bays removed. The RPL-1 was placed in the bow of the ship and an additional KD-8 disrupter was placed in the aft compartment. In addition to these changes, a KCC cloaking device was added. The Klingons had learned by this time that the plasma weapon and cloak were designed to be used together, often by remaining cloaked and stationary in the path of their adversary before decloaking and firing the plasma bolt at minimum range. Description:	The D14 is a strike destroyer operated by Klingon "Wolf Pack" squadrons hunting freighters, transports and targets of oportunity behind enemy lines. A very spartan build and cruiser engines gave the D14 a good power to mass ratio. Also excellent maneuverability. However the drawback was limited space flight duration and the D14 needed the constant support of a tender during operations. Tested in SFC 1 only. A Ship Edit spec file is included for all variants and refits.

Description:	The D15 Fast Strike Destroyer was an improved version of the D14 stike destroyer intended to provide support and perimeter defence of strategic objectives seized by Distant Action battlegroups. The D15, along with other fast starships, would follow the initial break through by the DA battlegroup and arrive at the target system a short time behind it, ready to secure the area. As with the D14, the D15 is a spartan warship with a very high power to mass ratio due to a third cruiser engine added to the hangar/ engineering hull roof. The compromise for high maneuverability and combat power is the need for constant re-supply and support from a tender. The D15 has limited space flight duration. Tested in SFC 1 only. Ship Edit spec files are provided for all variants and refits.

Description:	The D17 Dupat Class destroyer was designed and built by the giant Drel shipyards. It is derived from the D7 K'Tinga Class battlecruiser and entered service from 2275. After requests for something to replace the aging collection of obstelete destroyers, some dating from the late 2100's and early 2200's. Things were becoming so desperate in the Klingon Navy that the L9 Sivista Class heavy frigate was often pressed into the role of destroyer rather than use the old destroyers. Finally the Admirals had there demands met with the D17 Dupat. The D17 Dupat used common part from the F5 frigate, D6 battlecruiser and D7 battlecruiser for ease of maintainance and re-supply. The D17 is also one of the reasons cited for the cancellation of the rival E5 destroyer after only three vessels entered service in 2275. The E5 is also an excellent destroyer. This model is tested in SFC 1 only!! I've no idea if the illuninations will work in SFC 2 at all. A couple of SFC 1 FMSE ompiled scripts, featuring the D17 Dupat, are included which aren't easy, but can be won. A Ship Edit spec file is included with this model. In the picture a D17 Dupat runs from a Hydran patrol.
