Killmail DELETION!!!!!!!

Yes ladies and gentleman.  Thats right.  BattleClinic.com now supports killmail deletion.

History:  For many moons now we have had a policy in place to never delete a killmail.  This was in place to relieve pressure from our small staff of moderators and to give all people equal and unfiltered access to our killboard.

Now: After much demand we are extending the capability to request a deletion of killmails.

Our guideline.


It must be requested to be deleted via the [Request deletion] link provide on the killmail page itself.  Requests in the comments thread attached will be ignored.

It must be a fake kill mail and verifiably a fake killmail. 

If you can provide evidence via api based sources that the killmail is fake we will always remove it when requested. Otherwise, the moderators have final say on what is and is not fake.

API provided killmails will never be deleted.


So, not only do you have a method now to dispute the mail, you have a way to get it gone.

Advert Competition

As you have likely read adverts are being accepted for the alliance tournaments.

So, with the rules in mind, we have a little competition for producing a video for BattleClinic.

You can choose to produce an advert for one of the following:

One winner will be selected from each category.
We will decide which one(s) we will submit to CCP from the winners.

Each winner will receive 300 million ISK.

Entries must be received by us no later than 14th January 2009.

We heard you! Changes coming to Deep Space Supply

We've been asking our customers over at www.deepspacesupply.com what changes they'd like us to make. We already provide the fastest service without intrusive phone calls or invasions of privacy. You like that a lot -- but you also want more. In fact,

899 of you want to see a banner on BattleClinic.
731 of you want limits changed.
102 of you said you're ok with charging your credit card through PayPal or using your PayPal account, but you'd love it if we also took credit cards directly.

So, in order to give you the best shopping experience possible, we're making some changes.

• The shop site will get a radical overhaul -- top to bottom! New eye-candy, smooth functionality, and all wrapped up in the BattleClinic style that you know and love. You'll get fast checkout and you'll be supporting us, too!
• We'll be adding banners to BC to spread the word, and to make sure that you know the site is, in fact, run by us, not some lame gold farming posers.
• If your account ages gracefully over about 30 days, it's highly likely you'll enjoy a generous increase in your code limit.
• We'll begin accepting credit cards directly on the site in 1Q09, so if you have a strange aversion to PayPal, you'll now be able to buy direct.
